Master sculptor Elaine Spatz-Rabinowitz creates paintings on cast plaster
and other forms in a mixed-media, painterly manner. She is the recipient of
numerous awards and fellowships, including the prestigious Bunting Institute
Fellowship. Spatz-Rabinowitz's work is found in many public and private
collections—the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston among them. She shows regularly at
OK Harris in New York City and at the Howard Yezerski Gallery in Boston. Krisjohn Horvat of the Rhode Island College Department of Art serves as exhibition curator. Opening Reception: November 16 (Gallery Night), 7:00 p.m., featuring a dialogue with the artist moderated by Howard Yezerski. |
