Capital Projects

The renovation of Buildings 3 & 7 has begun on the Rhode Island College East Campus. For most of the coming year, we ask your patience with reduced parking and slower traffic around these areas. Although most of the activity will occur within the fenced areas, please watch for construction vehicles as they enter and exit the vicinity. Except for authorized personnel and contractors, no driving, parking, walking, or standing will be allowed within the fenced areas. This is for your safety. Thank you for your cooperation.

When completed, Building #3 will house Financial Aid offices, a café, and a classroom. Building #7 will house the Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities. The fence for Building #7 is expected to go up Thursday, March 20 and will be adjacent to Building #8, the Recreation Center and the homes on Basswood Avenue.

Construction hours will predominately be between 7AM and 4PM. In case of emergency, please notify Rhode Island College Security and Safety at 456-8201.
