Mock Interview Job Descriptions

Credit Administration Intern: The Washington Trust Company

This is a great internship opportunity for a current college student to gain meaningful work experience at The Washington Trust Company. This position will assist our Credit Administration department in asset quality reporting and the capture/tracking of various data for presentations and reports.

Additional duties include tracking and ordering of real estate appraisals and environmental assessment reports. This opportunity requires attention to detail, proficiency in Excel/Word, and excellent communication skills. The chosen candidate will work a flexible schedule of 25 hours per week during regular business hours.

This seasonal position will be located at The Washington Trust Company’s Main Office Credit Administration department, located at 23 Broad Street, Westerly, RI.

Management Trainee Internship: Enterprise Rent a Car

Human Resource: Gtech

As an Intern in the Recruiting Department, you will work directly with the Corporate Recruiting team to fill open requisitions in various departments within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Post/manage jobs
  • Perform Internet sourcing and candidate screening
  • Review candidate resumes
  • Field/answer questions from employees and consultants
  • Assist in clarifying job requirements, Maintain databases/spreadsheets/reports

Home Therapeutic Services Worker:  The Groden Network

To provide in-home behavior therapy and training to families of children with behavioral and emotional disorders. (Will receive training in behavioral methods and support from Supervisor)

Qualifications:

Previous social/human services experience (which may include any family, volunteer, intern, student teaching or employed experience with individuals with developmental disabilities). Some courses in Psychology, Social Work/Teaching. Must have valid driver's license/transportation.

Client Training Specialist: MEDITECH

Looking for staff to facilitate training and installation of our Health Care Information System. Candidates should possess exceptional communication and dynamic presentation skills. The ability to work as part of a team as well as to work independently is required. Experience working with information systems is a plus. These are entry-level positions, and training in the application software is provided to all new staff. Qualified candidates may be required to conduct a 15-minute presentation to the hiring management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary contact for clients
  • Multitasking and communicating with staff members across multiple MEDITECH applications
  • Providing customer service and troubleshooting application software issues
  • Working in a team with programmer analysts to resolve any technical issues
  • Working on group projects, interact with development staff, and mentor co-workers,
  • Processing requests for system enhancements or modifications to our evolving software, Designing and maintaining application documentation
  • Updating and maintaining an online project tracking system, Traveling 60%-75% to conduct new customer training

Qualifications:

Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written), Ability to work as part of a team and independently, Strong desire to learn,  Experience in a financial, administrative, or clinical area of healthcare is a plus but not required, Ability to engage in extensive, overnight travel
