RIConnect Course
Registration
Non-RIC/new students will need to establish a RIC
account before using RIConnect (please refer to instructions below for
establishing an account through the Records Office). Please refer to the Course Bulletin for
instructions on use of RIConnect and see Registration Dates/Times for the
registration schedule.
New Nondegree, Visiting, or Returning Students
If you have never taken courses at the College before, or if it has been three semesters or more since you were enrolled, you need to call the Records Office at 456-8212 or 456-8213 so that the Records Office can either enter your student information into the system or update your record. If you prefer, this information can be e-mailed to records@ric.edu. Your name, address, telephone number, Social Security number, e-mail address, date of birth, and gender are required. We will also need to know if you have a four-year degree and if you are a U.S. citizen. Within twenty-four hours we will mail you a user ID and password. You can then access your record on RIConnect. Please note that course registration is by appointment.
Registration Dates/Times
Following establishment of a RIC account, all students register via the Web and
are assigned dates and times to register. Assigned times are available on
RIConnect. New students must contact the Records Office to establish an account
before attempting registration. The Records Office will create or update the
account and provide the necessary access information for registration.
Withdrawal from Courses
If you register for a course and do not withdraw from the course before the end
of the Add/Drop Period, you will be financially responsible for the course. You
must pay even if you do not attend.
Tuition/Fees
Standard RIC tuition and fees will apply. Please
review tuition and fee information in the Course Bulletin
