Jora Ehrlich, M.A.

Graduate Assistant (Part-Time)

Jora is a counseling extern from Rhode Island College's M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She has experience working in community mental health, outpatient counseling, partial hospitalization and substance use treatment. Jora has special interests in relationship issues, trauma informed care, existential concerns and the healing potential of therapy. She has a personal and professional commitment to the intersection of mental health and social justice, individual and community resilience in the face of historical trauma and multiculturalism. Jora’s approach to therapy is collaborative, respectful and supportive. Before returning to school for counseling Jora worked in refugee resettlement, adult education and career development. Outside of work Jora enjoys spending time with her family, puttering in her garden, hiking, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.​​​
