Lucia Andrade, M.A.
Lucia Andrade, MA is a doctorate student at the University of Massachusetts Boston’s Counseling Psychology PhD program. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She has a background working with adolescents, young adults, and families on an individual and group level. Her previous work has included working with individuals struggling with anxiety, substance abuse, and other mental health conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Lucia’s clinical and research interests include non-suicidal self-injury, suicide risk assessment and suicide prevention, and the utilization of strength-base, culturally-relevant, and systemic approaches to treatment. Lucia enjoys working with a culturally diverse population and is fluent in Spanish. Outside of work, Lucia enjoys playing tennis, hiking, bicycling, hiking and cooking.
