Miranda Icart is a pre-doctoral psychology intern from William James College. She received her master’s degree in Forensic and Counseling Psychology from William James College in 2015. She has prior training in high school and college counseling as well as in an inpatient hospital setting.
She is passionate about helping students manage the challenges related to emerging adulthood and college life. These often include family concerns, relationship difficulties, identity development, stress management, substance use issues, and trauma, among others. As a therapist, Miranda strives to provide a warm, collaborative environment that allows students to thrive, flourish, and become their best selves. During her free time, she enjoys watching Netflix, spending time outside with her dog, and bowling.
