Vision

The Child Welfare Institute shares a vision that all DCYF staff and collaborative partners, including institutions of higher learning, child welfare service providers and the Rhode Island community, be empowered to reach their full potential of advocating for children, youth, and families.

Goals:

• Educate and empower through innovative, comprehensive, and pertinent training programs.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive program of staff development.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive program of professional development for collaborative partners.
• Provide a nurturing, supportive, enriching learning environment.
