The economics major combines scientific, theoretical, and social perspectives in the study of how societies produce, distribute, and consume goods and services. It also includes actual and practical applications to ensure that students are prepared for entry-level positions and for graduate studies. This major leads to a bachelor of arts degree.
Students are responsible for meeting all graduation requirements; therefore, it is important that students consult with their advisor each semester before registering for courses.
A graded writing assignment is required in every course.
