Department Goals

The goals of the department are:

• to provide degree programs to prepare students for career opportunities and/or graduate level studies in economics, finance, and related areas.
• to provide educational opportunities to students enrolled in other liberal arts and professional programs.
• to assure academic quality in the programs and courses offered.
• to promote scholarship and the furtherance of knowledge in its areas of expertise.
• to provide expertise, advice, consultation, and assistance in meeting the needs of the college and the broader community.
