Certificate of Undergraduate Study (C.U.S.): Insurance and Risk Management
The Insurance and Risk Management Certification program provides fundamental training for those considering careers in the insurance and risk management industries. The program consists of 18 credits that address risk management fundamentals in health, life, property, and liability and includes an internship experience.
For current Rhode Island College students, certification provides a credential for work similar to that required for a concentration or minor. For current insurance practitioners, courses and certification provide upgrades in knowledge and skills and may simultaneously meet industry training requirements. For others in the post-secondary community, certification provides career change and licensure preparation.
