Due to renovations to the Henry Barnard School second floor, the Educational Studies Department has been temporarily relocated to Building 2 on the East Campus.
Programs in this department prepare students for initial certification as teachers in secondary and middle schools. Students with bachelor's degrees may pursue certification in either an M.A.T. or RITE program. Specialty programs are offered in ESL and Bilingual.
A new RIC summer international program for graduate education students will include seven days in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, a beautiful and unique town on Canada’s east coast.
