Status of EEP Students

Once a high school enters into partnership with RIC, it becomes a satellite campus of the college. When students register for EEP courses, they become nonmatriculating students of RIC. Academic records are maintained by the college Records Office, and it is through this office that requests for a transfer of earned EEP credits are made. If students are planning to attend RIC, there is no need to request a transfer of credits.

Shortly after students register for courses, they will be eligible to receive a RIC/I.D. card, which may be used to gain access to RIC facilities such as the James P. Adams Library or admission to the many entertainment events sponsored annually by the College. The cost to attend these events is the same as the cost to the full-time student population. Most importantly, being an EEP student will prepare anyone for the rigors of college academic life, and any credits that are successfully completed may count toward a college degree.
