The course requirements for both are the same except for the methods courses, which fall under ECED for Early Childhood or ELED for Elementary Education.
The B.A. and B.S. in Elementary Education are both three-part programs.The M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education prepares early childhood educators for leadership positions in the field. This program emphasizes an understanding and commitment to the importance of the early years from Birth to age 8.
