Maintenance & Repair

The Maintenance & Repair staff operates, maintains and repairs all buildings on campus, including residence halls. The services provided are electrical, carpentry, general maintenance, painting, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and locksmith services.

Submitting a Service Request / Work Order

To request a work order through the office of Facilities & Operations, kindly email jteixeira@ric.edu or call the Office of Facilities and Operations at (401) 456-8262 with your request.

* Be sure to include:

• Contact name and telephone number
• Building location and room number
• Brief and detailed description of the service request

Campus Emergencies

During regular business hours, call the Office of Facilities and Operations at (401) 456-8262 with any emergency. Emergencies occurring weekdays after 4:00 pm, weekends and holidays, please contact Campus Police at the Office of Security and Safety at (401) 456-8201. Campus Security will respond to the emergency and contact the appropriate Facilities staff, if necessary.
