Matthew Pamental






Matthew married Lisa Yamagata-Lynch

6/24/00. They're very happy.

Matthew is a dual-PhD candidate


in the Philosophy & Education Departments


at Indiana University.





This is a long way from the time he and his younger brother Jason


played with Maggie at the Gallaher estate


in Norwalk, CT.











He always got good grades, but he also had time to have some fun.





He

loved

camping

and

hiking . . .







and he loved singing.

Matthew was in the Regional chorus all through high-school, he was Oliver in that musical, he sang in the chorus of HMS Pinafore, and he was a Lieutenant in South Pacific.




He also loved soccer. He helped get it into the high-school as a varsity sport, and he was (#15) co-captain in his senior year.


Matthew always wanted to go to the University of Carolina at Chapel Hill, because both his cousins, Alice and Kevin, went there. His grades were good enough to get him accepted Early Admission, and he was even smart enough to figure out what one of his high-school senior year Christmas presents was.



He's finished his qualifying exams,


and is working on his dissertation.


Lisa's also working on her dissertation


in Educational Psychology and Technology.
