The function of this web site is to provide you with the text of the materials presented in class. It is not meant as a substitute for coming to the lectures, but as an adjunct to them. This site has been set up so that text materials to be presented in class may be made available, printed out, used for class preparation, and brought to class to aid in taking notes. The class notes are formatted so that they should print out with some space to the right of the text material. This area can be used to take notes in class on the text material presented. Please be aware that different web browsers (Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, etc.) on different platforms (Macintosh, PCs running Windows, etc.) may handle the formatting of the text differently and so what you see on the monitor's screen or in the printed output may not be exactly what is expected. If there are any problems, please let me know. (You can also let me know if you find them useful and they're functioning just fine!) Good luck in your studies. |
