About Our Services
The FCTL offers regular opportunities to meet and discuss particular aspects of effective teaching and learning as well as common classroom challenges. We facilitate collaborative efforts between and among departments, disciplines and schools in order to foster the professional development of faculty as teacher-scholars.
The FCTL works with full-time and adjunct faculty from all five schools and Adams Library. Services range from individual consultations to week-long course design retreats. The FCTL offers professional development throughout the entire course development process including issues of pedagogy, course design, and assessment. The FCTL provides support services on active and engaged learning, online and blended teaching, teaching technology, inclusive teaching, and more.
