Academic Background
After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania I taught in elementary and secondary schools in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. While in Pennsylvania I earned a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Later I received an NDEA fellowship to pursue a Master of Arts Degree in the Teaching of Economics from Purdue University. I completed my PHd in Education at Ohio University and then accepted a position on the elementary education faculty at Youngstown State University. After some time at Youngstown State, I received my current position in elementary education and the department of economics and finance at Rhode Island College.
