Joan Calise '57 Scholarship

Award $1,170; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate student
  • Admitted to Feinstein School and a teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Rhode Island resident
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid

Dr. S. Elizabeth Campbell '31 Endowed Scholarship in Education

Award $1,350; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate student
  • Admitted to Feinstein School and a teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Rhode Island resident
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA at time of application

Class of 1938 Endowed Scholarship Fund

Award $500; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate student who is at least a sophomore
  • Admitted to Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, and in good standing
  • Rhode Island resident
  • Awarded to student with highest GPA in student applicant pool

Class of 1940 Endowed Scholarship Fund

Award $2,000; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate entering junior or senior year
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Admitted to a Feinstein School and a teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Submit an essay of 250 words, detailing background, training, and future plans

Class of 1941 Endowed Scholarship

Award $300; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate
  • At least Sophomore standing
  • Admitted to Feinstein School in either Elementary Education or Secondary Education, and in good standing
  • Rhode Island resident

Class of 1942 Scholarship Fund

Award $200; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Rhode Island resident
  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate of Junior or Senior standing
  • Admitted to Feinstein School and a teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA (attained at Rhode Island College) at time of application
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid

Class of 1943 Scholarship

Award $1,200; Awarded Annually

  • Rhode Island resident
  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate of Junior or Senior standing
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School and in good standing

Thomas G. King Memorial Scholarship

Award $7,500; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate student at sophomore or junior year
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in the Technology Education Teacher Preparation Program and in good standing
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Demonstrated interest and participation in activities of the Technology Education program

Marguerite C. Ormond Morey, Class of 1915 Scholarship Fund

Award $270; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Rhode Island resident
  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate in Sophomore year
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School and a teacher preparation program, and in good standing

Ethel Murphy Scholarship Fund

Award $450; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate Elementary Education student
  • Admitted to Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, and in good standing
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Single parent with financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Rhode Island resident with preference to residents of Cranston

Wilhelmina A. Null Memorial Science Scholarship

Award $ 1,000; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Outstanding undergraduate student (preferably female) of at least Junior standing
  • Pursuing a science concentration
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in a teacher preparation program, and in good standing

Olga M. Lusi O'Brien'45 Scholarship

Award $250; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) Elementary Education undergraduate of at least Junior standing
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in the Elementary Education teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Rhode Island resident
  • Minimum 3.20 GPA at time of application
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid

Providence Teachers' Association Memorial Scholarship

Award $1,500; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Graduate of a public high school in Providence
  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate of at least Junior standing
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in a teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Demonstrate high scholastic ability with potential for becoming a truly fine educator
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid

Angelo V. and Antoinette C. Rosati Endowed Scholarship

Award $ 400; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in the Art Education Teacher Preparation Program, and in good standing
  • African-American female, preference given to Rhode Island resident
  • Enrolled full-time undergraduate student (12 credits)

Phyllis Moverman Salk '67, '73 Scholarship

Award $300; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) Elementary Education undergraduate
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in the Elementary Education teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA at time of application
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Submit 500 word essay stating why he/she is dedicated to educating underprivileged children or children with learning disabilities
  • Preference given to Rhode Island residents

Anne B. Saute '37 Scholarship Fund

Award $100; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in the Elementary Education program, and in good standing
  • Enrolled full-time undergraduate student (12 credits)
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to become an effective teacher
  • Preference given to Rhode Island residents

Thomas & Louise Barry Scholarship

Award $1,000; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate entering sophomore, junior or senior year
  • First generation from immediate family to attend college and must be a RI resident
  • Admitted in Feinstein School Special Education Teacher Preparation Program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid

Dr. Raquel Shapiro '60 Fund

Award $200; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate student
  • First generation junior or senior admitted to the Feinstein School
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Minimum of a 3.5 GPA
  • Must demonstrate aspirations for a career as a classroom teacher, counselor, or psychologyist

Vera Sohigian '35 Endowed Scholarship in Education

Award $400; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Full-time (12 credits) undergraduate of at least Sophomore standing
  • Admitted to the Feinstein School in a teacher preparation program, and in good standing
  • Must demonstrate a GPA consistent with the requirements of the School and the student's teacher preparation program
  • Financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid
  • Preference given to Rhode Island residents

Carmelita Triago Davey '58 Scholarship

Award $ 2,000; Awarded Annually

Criteria

  • Must be at least a junior
  • Declared elementary education major
  • Enrolled full-time (12 credits)
  • Must be a Rhode Island resident
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA at time of application
