The synchronous rise of the computer and development of postmodernism are analyzed. Taking a cultural studies approach, students examine the transformations in culture and media that accompanied the computer’s dispersion.

• senior standing; or acceptance into the Master of Arts program in art, with a concentration in media studies; or consent of the program director.
