Endowed & Current Operating Funds

These funds have been established through the interest and generosity of alumni, parents, and friends of Rhode Island College.  Some honor individuals, some reflect the gratitude of alumni for their years at Rhode Island College, some are demonstrations of admiration for former professors, and others reflect a desire to assist the College in continuing to fulfill its mission.

Scholarships are awarded by the Rhode Island College Foundation, but not always annually.  Candidates who have been accepted for admission and filled out the appropriate forms become candidates for scholarships for which they might be eligible.

Endowed and annual grant scholarships include the following funds.  For those that are endowed, the market value of the fund as of June 30, 2007, is stated.  Last year, the Rhode Island College Foundation was able to award over $257,000 to students because of the generous commitment of our alumni and friends.
