What We Do

The Feinstein School administers and coordinates all professional education programs at Rhode Island College. We offer a range of programs, including early childhood, pre-K-12, counseling, school psychology, youth development and health and wellness.

RIC FSEHD Educator Preparation Programs received a 5-year Accreditation Approval by the RI Department of Education. 

We are proud of our 17 undergraduate programs, 15 graduate programs, and 8 certificate programs that prepare future teachers, school psychologists, and reading specialists to change lives and contribute to quality teaching and learning for the next generation. RIDE Approved Programs

Fall 2024 Admission to the FSEHD

Admission sessions will be hosted in the South Dining Room of Donovan Dining Hall during free period on the following dates:

  • April 24th, 12:30 - 1:45 Secondary Education and Health and Physical Education (all HPE programs)
  • May 1st, 12:30 - 1:45 All Grades Programs (not HPE), Elementary Education Programs, and Early Childhood Education

Candidates should bring a laptop or other device that can be used to connect to Chalk and Wire (Anthology).
