GradFest '09

The central theme of the event will feature one-stop shopping for both graduating seniors and advanced degree candidates. The event will bring together as many services as possible so that degree candidates can use the opportunity to:

  • Have a complimentary professional photo taken.
    Professional Photography courtesy of Commencement Specialists, Inc will be at GradFest. Commencement Specialists will offer a complimentary photo sitting at GradFest from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. President Carriuolo will also be available for photographs with candidates graduates from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    (You are under no obligation to purchase any photography package. You may have your photo taken in your regalia or have a professional photo to complement your portfolio.)
  • Purchase your Cap, Gown, Hood, & Tassel.
  • Order personalized Graduation Announcements.
  • Order your official class ring and diploma frames. Representatives will be on hand to offer you choices.
  • Visit the Financial Aid booth for valuable information about your student loans.
  • Visit the Records Office booth to verify your diploma information and to apply for graduation (if you have not already done so).
  • Speak with professionals in Career Services to learn about opportunities that may await you
  • Visit the Alumni Association booth for information on benefits, Young Alumni Group and diploma frames.
  • Learn of Adam's Library extended privileges for Alumni.
  • Learn about Senior Celebration activities. Class of 2009 officers will be available to provide details about Senior Celebration events and to sell tickets.

Additionally, the Commencement Office will also use the occasion to reach out with information about Cap and Gown Day and the exercises scheduled in May.
