Our Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to assist the Henry Barnard School administration and staff to provide varied enrichment programs for Henry Barnard School children; to provide educational programs for Henry Barnard School parents; to provide an avenue for communication parents, teachers, the Henry Barnard School administration and staff and the Rhode Island College administration and staff; to foster communication among parents and teachers concerning the educational and emotional development of the children and to take such actions as are appropriate to support the concepts and philosophy of the Henry Barnard School at Rhode Island College.

Dear Parents Association,
Our annual Book Fair and Pizza night were a success. Many thanks go to Heather Ross and Kristen Garabedian for organizing the events. Lets also thank the many volunteers who did everything from serving pizza and salad to selling apparel and books.
Looking forward we have more fun and exciting events coming up. October 4th we have our Family Fun Day at RIC Homecoming which will include raffles, face painting, crafts and much, much more. Also, we will have a unique opportunity on November 6th when we have a panel discussion with RIC President Carriuolo and Dean Eldridge. Parents will be able to ask many questions about the present and the future of HBS. Please forward any questions in advance to Dr. Tibbetts.
I hope to see you at our next HBSPA meeting on October 16th at 7:00 pm.
