comparable coverage. Procedures to waive the insurance are available through the
University Health Plans, Inc website.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE the on-line Waiver Form by the deadline, September 18, 2008, will result in your mandatory purchase of the College’s Student Insurance Plan, without the possibility of later waiver, refund or cancellation. You will be able to waive out of the Student Insurance Plan by the deadline date of September 18, 2008 for both the Fall and Spring Semesters if you have other insurance coverage that will insure you for the entire Academic Year. The waiver deadline date for the Spring Semester is February 18, 2009.
International students are required to carry insurance and are automatically enrolled in the College's insurance plan, and may not waive it.
Part-time, non-degree, and graduate students enrolled in a minimum of six (6)
credits hours may enroll in the Rhode Island College Student Health
Insurance Plan on a voluntary basis. To purchase coverage,
