Interfaith Services
Rhode Island College Interfaith Services are offered through the Unity Center and provide opportunities for prayer, worship and meditation; support for faith-based student groups; workshops, lectures and community service. Interfaith Services strives to educate the RIC community about various faiths and to foster understanding and respect for religious choices.
The Rev’d Dante Tavolaro, a chaplain for RIC, is also available for spiritual counseling. You can contact him at dtavolaro@ric.edu.
During the holidays, Interfaith Services hosts the “Giving Tree,” and works with local organizations to collect gifts for children in need. The whole campus looks forward to this event every year!
Our meditation room, which is open to all members of the RIC community, as a quiet place for prayer, meditation and reflection, can be reserved by calling the Unity Center at 401-456-8791.
