Learning for Life (L4L)

At L4L we see YOU!

The mission of Learning for Life (L4L) is to connect students to on and off campus resources and opportunities. Students served by L4L are empowered to overcome life obstacles on their journey to graduation such as, access to basic needs, managing competing priorities, and navigating the campus systems. L4L’s team of staff and trained peer mentors (Navigators) support and advocate for students. We build a community where students feel accepted, included, and safe.

L4L Participation Form

If you are interested in becoming a Learning for Life Scholar, please fill out this form and return it to the L4L office located in Adams Library, Level 1. We will link you with a Navigator and/or you will meet with an L4L staff member. The purpose of the meeting is to talk about your strengths and challenges and to provide insight about how we can best assist you on your course to success.

Do you feel distressed? Do you wish to speak with someone? Please call the 24/7 Rhode Island College HOPE line: 401-456-HOPE (4673). The HOPE line is in addition to the counseling center and has been established to provide continuous support to our campus community.
