Options After Having Taken The Mathematics Assessment Examination
If you do not achieve a satisfactory score (16 or better) on the Mathematics
Assessment Examination you have two choices.
Choice one: If your score was very low and/or your major requires
mathematics courses you may wish to take Mathematics 010 to bring your
mathematics skills up to par and also fulfill the requirement.
Choice two: Come to the Mathematics Learning Center with your test
results to receive tutoring before taking the test a second time.
If you do not achieve a satisfactory score on the test on the second
opportunity, then the only way to fulfill the requirement is passing Mathematics
010.
