Background

Zhou is originally from Beijing, China, and is a graduate of the renowned Central Conservatory. Upon his graduation, he became a tenured voice professor at the conservatory. He also earned a master's degree in vocal performance from Shenandoah University.

In addition to teaching at Rhode Island College, Zhou continues performing locally and internationally. His most recent performance was Monteverdi's "Vespers" with The Washington Chorus and National Symphony Orchestra.
