Wednesday Chamber Music Series spring 2011 season announced

Judith Lynn Stillman
The concert schedule was announced by series artistic director Judith Lynn Stillman, RIC music professor and artist-in-residence. Stillman, a pianist, recently served as visiting artist-in-residence in China, where she presented concerts and master classes at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
The 50-minute recitals will be held on Wednesdays in the Nazarian Center’s Sapinsley Hall. An informative and intimate question-and-answer session with the artists follows each performance.

“Mezzo-soprano Mary Phillips gave a radiant performance as Fricka, projecting both the pain of the neglected wife and the fury of the goddess whose rites have been flouted.”
