RIC Graduate Student Symposium, May 4
Graduate students will present their final works in separate panels at the RIC Graduate Student Symposium on Wednesday, May 4, in Alger Hall.
This year, graduate students from different disciplines will be presenting; some of these include English graduates reading from their creative works, nursing students explaining results from their research projects and students from financial planning simulating financial planning situations, said Leslie Schuster, interim dean of graduate studies at RIC.
“The graduate studies symposium is a great opportunity for graduate students to bring their work to the College community,” said Schuster.
There will also be a graduate studies reception in Alger 110 from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to honor three students who have completed the Certificate of Graduate Studies.
