Two lectures to highlight life and work of Frantz Fanon - Nov. 10 and 17

The commemoration begins on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m. with a public lecture by noted Fanonian scholar Nigel Gibson of Emerson College titled “Fanonian Practices in South Africa.”
On Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m., philosopher Lewis Gordon of Temple University will discuss “Three Guilty of Thinking While Black: Joseph Auguste Anténor Firmin, Frantz Omar Fanon, and Steve Bantu Biko.”
Both lectures will take place in Adams Library (Fortes Room).
