Liana Greene, "Amber Vase."
Opening receptions will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 30 (graduate students), and Monday, May 14 (undergraduates).
These annual shows allow student artists to demonstrate their talent in the various studio disciplines offered at Rhode Island College.
Students featured in the exhibition have worked under the guidance of faculty members who challenge the aspiring artists to create art that explores original content and develops the skills and techniques for informed studio practice.
James Montford, director of Bannister Gallery, is curator of the exhibitions.
Gallery hours during exhibits are Tuesday through Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Exhibits and events are free and open to the public. Accessible to persons with disabilities. For information on event dates and exhibit opening receptions, check the website at www.ric.edu/Bannister or call (401) 456-9765.
