R.I. Business Leadership Network forum on workplace ergonomics June 10


"Improve Employee Performance Through Ergonomics" – a presentation on how ergonomics can decrease injury and increase employee stamina, attendance and overall performance – will be held on Thursday, June 10, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the New England Institute of Technology on 2480 Post Road in Warwick.

Presenters Don Silva, Sr. of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of R.I. and Chris Benson of Beacon Mutual will discuss strategies to decrease musculoskeletal injury, view examples of ergonomic equipment and highlight the benefits of implementing workplace ergonomics.

The event is offered by the Rhode Island Business Leadership Network, in cooperation with the Department of Human Services – Office of Rehabilitation Services, State Rehabilitation Council, and Rhodes to Independence.
