Northeast Navy Showband at RIC July 14
The Showband, based at the Naval Station Newport, provides public concerts, music clinics and appearances at jazz festivals and serves civilian and military communities and commands throughout the northeastern U.S.
The high-quality ensemble consists of five trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, a rhythm section and vocalists, who perform big band favorites by artists such as Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, The Brecker Brothers, Glenn Miller and others.
