Simeon Thayer
A Roger's Ranger during the French and Indian War, in 1775 he was a Captain in Colonel Daniel Hitchcock's Regiment, took part in Benedict Arnold's Expedition to Canada where he was taken prisoner in Quebec. Then exchanged, and in 1777 was a Major in Colonel Israel Angell's Regiment, and was wounded in battle. He retired in 1781.
