Get Ready for Summer 2024 Orientation

RIC Students at Orientation

If you will be attending RIC in the Fall 2024 semester, as a new first-year student or a new transfer student, you will need to participate in an orientation program during June, July, or August.

Orientation makes transitioning to RIC both comfortable and enjoyable. It combines live sessions with online modules to welcome you to our campus, introduce you to campus resources, assist you with registering for classes, and more. During your orientation experience you will meet with an advisor and be assigned to an Orientation Leader, who will assist you during your transition to RIC.

Registration Opens April 1

To participate in an orientation program you must register to attend. Please plan to register on April 1 or shortly after. Please view the appropriate orientation program (First-Year Student Orientation, Transfer Student Orientation, or Family Orientation) for all orientation details and registration.
