Welcome new students!

Welcome to Rhode Island College. In order to introduce you to the college and assist you in making a smooth transition to college life, all incoming freshmen are required to attend our summer orientation program. In early June you will receive a letter inviting you to sign up for one of the eight summer orientation program cycles.

Whether you choose a one-day cycle or a two-day cycle, you will have the opportunity to experience orientation with a small group of your classmates. You will be entering a new world and making new friends. And some of those friendships may last a lifetime!

We are happy that you have chosen to join us. We will make every effort to see that your first experience as a student at Rhode Island College is an informative and enjoyable one.
