Community Service

Requirement MUST be Completed & Submitted by: October 30, 2008

PRAXIS II Tests:

Results (pass or fail) MUST Be submitted to OSPFP by: October 30, 2008

Registration Information

We will register ALL STUDENTS for:

  • Student Teaching, All Student Teaching Seminars
  • Full Semester Undergrad EC and Eled take Eled 469 on Wednesday 3:00 - 3:50
  • Split Semester Undergrad Eled/Sped and
    • EC/Sped take Eled 469 during Eled/EC
    • Placement on Wed 2:00 - 3:50
  • All Sped Undergrad and MAT take
    • Sped 440 (Unless S/P) for full semester
    • (3 credits) Thursday 4:00-6:50
    • S/P take Sped 438. Date/time to be determined.
  • Eled MAT Seminar date and time determined by supervisor
  • SED 422 and all K-12 seminars meet day/time listed in course bulletin

Student Responsibilities:

Students getting ready to student teach in the Fall 2007 semester are responsible for providing documentation for all of the requirements listed on page one of this form to the Office of School Partnerships and Field Placements.

Upon receipt of documentation the requirements are logged in at the Office of School Partnerships and Field Placements.

Documentation that is turned into your department is NOT logged in at the Office of School Partnerships and Field Placements. Should your department also require documentation required for student teaching you must submit to both places.

Students who do not meet the deadline dates for submitting documentation will not be allowed to student teach.

Remember-Any student who has the TB test done anywhere other than RIC Health Service Office must submit their documentation to Health Services before coming to the Office of School Partnerships and Field Placements.
