The Muir String Quartet will return to RIC for its 17th year. The first concert of the season will be on Nov. 23, with special guest Alexander Fiterstein on the clarinet. The program includes Dvorak's Cypresses for String Quartet, Beethoven's String Quartet in F Major, Op. 135 and Brahms' Clarinet Quintet in B minor, Op. 115.

The Muir String Quartet returns to RIC, along with special guest Marcus Thompson on viola. The evening's program includes Mozart's "Dissonant" String Quartet K. 465; Beethoven's The Harp, Op. 74; and Mendelssohn's String Quintet in B Flat Major, Op. 87.

The Muir String Quartet

Jeffrey Siegel's Keyboard Conversations® returns to RIC with another award-winning "concert with commentary." On April 13, Siegel will present Chopin and the Future, in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Chopin's birth. The program will feature works of Chopin that enchant the ear and point to the future - nocturnes and etudes - and the music of composers inspired by him, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Scriabin and Szymanowski.
