All students register via the Web and are assigned dates and times to register. Assigned times are available on RIConnect. New students must call the RecordsOffice at 456-8212 to be assigned the appropriate access information for registration.

If you register for a course and do not withdraw from the course before the end of the Add/Drop Period, you will be financially responsible for the course. You must pay even if you do not attend.

Student Category	Spring Semester 2009
Degree Candidates Students who have been admitted to a degree program	October 20 - December 12 January 8 - February 3 (Late Registration) Monday, January 19 - Martin Luther King Day (offices closed)
Nondegree Undergraduates and Graduates Students who have attended RIC in the past but who are not formally admitted to a degree program.	January 9 Monday, January 19 - Martin Luther King Day (offices closed)
New Students Student who have never been enrolled at RIC.	January 9
Waiver Students STEP student and students with senior citizens waivers, unemployment waivers, or disabled veterans waivers.	January 16

Spring Semester 2009:

Classes begin January 20, 2009
Add/drop period extends through February 2
Last day to withdraw from courses without permission is March 30

Registration Times

The registration system is available from 7:00a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.
