Activities throughout the year will celebrate the Sesquicentennial through printed media, broadcast media, audiovisual presentations, and community outreach. There is also a special full color Sesquicentennial issue of What's News which was published in the summer of 2003. Watch for our billboard campaign throughout the year.

2003

  • August 27 Coffee Cup Campaign begins
  • August - October: Rhode Island College Billboard Campaign [Route 95, south]
  • November - December: Rhode Island College Billboard Campaign [Route 10, south]

2004

  • Tuesday January 27  Media Forum [Alumni Lounge, Roberts Hall, 6:00 p.m.]
  • Thursday, March 25 Phylum Party: Biology Department in conjunction with the Biology Club - a delightful culinary experience,  [Fogarty Life Science Lounge, 5 p.m.] Special guest appearance by Chef Frank Terranova
