Rhode Island Writing Project

As winter continues to cast an icy glow over the Old Alumni House on the Rhode Island College campus, all of us at the Rhode Island Writing Project are preparing for warmer days ahead. Registration brochures for our 2010 Annual Spring Conference have been mailed to over 1200 teachers and administrators across the state. In addition, plans are underway for our popular summer programs – The Summer Institute on Writing & Critical Literacy, Planning for Change, and the Literature Institute - as well as our two-week Young Writers’ Camp for students in grades K - 12. We are also pleased to offer a new institute this summer – a two-week institute on technology called The Technology Institute. We are excited about this new offering and its focus on integrating technology and instruction.

We hope to see you at our conference on March 6th, and we look forward to reading and writing with you this summer. Space is limited in all of our programs, so please register early.
