| Rhode Island College was founded in 1854.
The business academic unit originated as the Department
of Economics in the School of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 1969,
and evolved into the Department of Economics and Management in 1974.
The Department of Economics and Management became
a free-standing entity, the Center for Management and Technology, in 1994.
The Center for Management and Technology became
a school within the college, the School of Management, in 2002. |
