The University of Rhode Island is the home for a partnership of Part B state personnel, Part C personnel, Higher Education faculty, Sherlock Center staff, and others. Among other issues, this partnership focuses on the preparation of early childhood educators to educate young children with disabilities. This partnership will play a major role in the RISIG teacher preparation reform initiatives as they relate to early childhood education.
