The Rhode Island Association of School Principals (RIASP) implements an Aspiring Principals Program in which teachers who are interested in becoming principals are mentored by practicing principals as they complete the required coursework and internship experiences. This program is the model for the Administrators of Special Education Mentorship program. RIASP has agreed to consult with the Association of Rhode Island Administrators of Special Education (ARIASE) in designing and implementing this program.
