• Rhode Island Autism Project:  offers training and on site technical assistance to local school districts. The project supports three demonstration sites and a resource center. The staff of the Autism Project also provides extensive technical assistance on issues of behavioral intervention and positive behavioral supports.

• Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center:  offers training, on site technical assistance, and disseminates several resource products.

• Medicaid Assistance Project:  provides technical assistance to local school districts to define the services and supports for which Medicaid reimbursement can be obtained and assists school districts with Medicaid issues.

• CONNECS Project:  developed a cadre of schools and school personnel who provide technical assistance on behavioral interventions and on strategies for developing school communities.

• Legal Affairs Project:  provides technical assistance to schools on compliance issues.

• Research & Evaluation:  RITAP coordinates several research activities, including the Children with Disabilities study that was mandated by the Rhode Island Legislature and the Self Study and Improvement Planning Activities that are part of the OSEP CIMP process.
