Trainings, events & organized meetings specific to school & childcare personnel:
Trainings, workshops, conferences for school personnel and childcare centers will follow the cancellation decision for the school district in which the event takes place.
Examples:

If the event is located at a Warwick venue, then the Warwick School District schedule will be followed. The same would hold for delays / early dismissals.
Training, Events & Meetings specific to non-school personnel or mixed audiences:
- Trainings, workshops, and/or meetings for non-school personnel or mixed audiences will be cancelled on a case by case basis. The instructor or meeting chair will provide the cancellation procedures prior to or at the first session, as appropriate.
- For large events, such as statewide conferences, announcements will be made via the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association (RIBA).
Events scheduled at RI College for any audience:
If RI College cancels classes due to inclement weather or an emergency condition, then all Sherlock Center events/courses/meetings located at RI College are cancelled for the period indicated. Such announcements are made via RIBA and posted to the RI College website at www.ric.edu.
