Doing What Works - This Dept. of Education website make it easy to find research-based practices. Their mission is to translate research-based practices into practical tools to improve classroom instruction. Choose from Data- Driven Improvement, Quality Teaching, Literacy, Math and Science, Comprehensive Support and Early Childhood. Choose a Topic of interest under each area, and a specific practice to explore. Under each practice you can Learn What Works, See How it Works and Do What Works. Equity Alliance at ASU has created an online, searchable library of resources for improving school practices. Nineteen categories are drawn from the resources developed by federally-funded technical assistance centers across the country, the Learning Carousel houses hundreds of research-based, downloadable PDFs on topics including: Included in the Learning Carousel , are brief overviews of topics in education, rubrics for assessing district or school practices, presentations, practitioner-oriented guides for improving practice, federal reports, and professional learning modules. The Equity Alliance at ASU represents a set of funded programs that promote equity, access, participation and outcomes for all students.
