Gerontology Conference

The RIC Gerontology Center hosted a conference on Civic Engagement and Aging on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Faculty Center Main Dining Room. The conference examined civic engagement of older adults. |

Spring Party

The Sociology, Justice Studies, and Gerontology Programs hosted their spring party on April 22, 2009. The party honored the Whitman Award winner in Sociology, the Mary Ann Hawkes Award winner in Justice Studies, the Harold Sweet Award winner in Gerontology, the AKD (sociology honor society) inductees, and students who successfully completed honors projects or gerontology certificates.
